The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities have implemented a new tuition fee framework for the 2019/2020 academic year that will provide students with a 10% reduction in tuition fees as compared to 2018-19. The 10% tuition fee reduction will be applied to all publicly funded programs at each year of study for funding-eligible students.  This decrease has been applied to the 2019/2020 tuition fee assessments.

In addition to the tuition fee reduction, a Student Choice Initiative was created that permits students to opt-out of non-essential fees.  Please see these details below.


Summary of Non-Essential Incidental Fees

The following list includes "Non-Essential" fees at St. Clair College. For information pertaining to Fees and High Demand Programs visit our Student Fee Structure 2019/2020. Students will be given the opportunity to opt-out of paying these non-essential fees online prior to Day 10 of the Fall semester (or semester of program intake). This date corresponds with the last date to withdrawal with a refund.

Student Representative Council Membership Fee

A membership fee of $50.00 is optional for students registered at the Windsor and Ace Acumen Campuses. Please see the Student Representative Council for a list of benefits and services. This is an annual fee regardless of date of membership.

Thames Students Incorporated Inc. Membership Fee

A membership fee of $50.00 is optional for students registered at the Chatham Campus. Please see Thames Students Incorporated Inc. for a list of benefits and services. This is an annual fee regardless of date of membership.

Alumni Association Membership Fee

A membership of $50.00 is optional for students registered at all Campuses. Please see the Alumni Office for a list of benefits and services. This is an annual fee regardless of date of membership.

Deadline to opt-out is September 16, 2019
