Welcome to St. Clair College's Research Ethics Site
The St. Clair College Research Ethics Board (REB) is committed to ensuring all research is conducted according to the highest ethical standards. Our research policies and procedures were developed to meet all requirements of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS2, 2014).
The core principles of the TCPS2 as well as the College REB are:
- Respect for Persons
- Concern for Welfare
All research activity associated with St. Clair College must receive administrative approval and REB clearance. The St. Clair College Research Ethics Board will strive to facilitate ethical research and assist all students and faculty in the pursuit of their research aspirations. Any questions regarding the review process or submission requirements can be directed to John Freer, Chair of the Research Ethics Board at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
