The Veterinary Technician Program is dedicated to teaching, learning and giving many animals a second chance at finding new, loving homes. Through education and hands-on learning, our students are able to improve many animal lives. Students, staff and the community are invited to adopt animals from our facility when the animals have been temperament tested and examined for medical concerns.

Our adoptable dogs  have had the following medical and health treatments:

  • Heartworm check
  • Vaccinations
  • Parasite Check and Deworming
  • Spay/Neuter (depending on age and condition)

Dogs

Breed: Beagle

Colour: Mix

Age: 5 Years Old

Gender: Male

This sweet 5-year-old male Beagle is looking for a loving forever home. He is a very affectionate and silly boy. He loves to be outside sniffing everything he can and is adorable when he gets the zoomies!

He gets along well with the other dogs he has encountered. This boy deserves a wonderful home where he can get the love and attention he craves. He is good with adults and children.

He still needs some work with basic training and obedience, after all, he is a hound, and his nose is what he listens to! He is crate trained, house broken and a happy and healthy boy.

Breed: Hound Mix

Colour: Brown

Age: 4 Years Old

Gender: Male

Pluto

This sweet boy is a 4-year-old brindle hound mix with heart-melting puppy dog eyes that loves a soft bed, his favourite lamb stuffy and resting his head in your lap to snuggle.

Before you fall in love with that droopy hound face there are some things you should know!

He is still a very shy boy that will require a very quiet home with patient owners who understand his needs, can take things slowly and give him time to come out of his shell. Being a hound mix, once he becomes comfortable in his new home, his hound qualities may start to show.

While fostered over Christmas break, he had no accidents in the house, and he grew more and more curious every day.

With the right people and lots of love, he can gain the confidence he needs and live a happy life!

Breed: Coon Hound Mix

Colour: Mix

Age: 2.5 Years Old

Gender: Male (Neutered)

Peter

I’m a beautiful male Coon Hound mix and my name is Peter!

I’m 2.5 years old and neutered, completely up to date on my vaccines as well and ready to find my family.

Peter is very affectionate, friendly and would be a good fit for any family that is moderately active. He does well with another dog.

A fenced yard would allow him to stretch his legs a little and he requires daily walks. However, snuggling on the sofa is one of his favourite things to do!
