Safewalk
Safe Walk is a free program available to the students and staff of St. Clair College and made possible by SRC’s student volunteers. Simply request a walk by dialling the phone number listed below and a team of Safe Walk volunteers will escort you where you need to go on campus!
Call to Request a Safe Walk Monday through Friday from 5 PM to 10:30 PM (hours subject to change based on volunteer availability).

St. Clair College and ALERTUS TECHNOLOGY
Alertus Technologies offers mobile phone apps for enhanced mobile notification between authorized dispatchers and end-users. The Alertus Recipient App allows end-users to not only receive push notifications but also to quickly send geo-tagged incident reports to emergency management personnel via the panic button feature. The Alertus Activator App allows authorized dispatchers to quickly send emergency notification alerts to faculty, staff, students, or personnel via Android or iOS tablets or smartphones.
Alertus Desktop™ Notification grabs the attention of your computer users immediately with a full-screen (or optional partial screen) pop-up alert. When an emergency occurs and you activate a warning, a full-screen alert will appear on all or select PCs and Macs across your facilities. Alertus Desktop Notification can be activated through the Alertus Activation Software.
MOBILE APP INSTALLATION
The Alertus Recipient app can be downloaded from the Google Play store or the iOS App Store. On the Google play store it is called "Alertus" and on the App Store it is called "Alertus+" Links to the respective store pages are below:
Step 1) Use the below QR code to download Alertus Mobile App from the Apple or Google Play Store.
Step 2) Enter “stclair” when prompted for the organization code.
Step 3) Enter your St. Clair College e-mail address when prompted for an e-mail address. Also enter “scc” when prompted for PIN.
Step 4) Check your St. Clair College e-mail inbox for a verification e-mail; click the verify link within the message.
Step 5) Select the E-mail Verified button on the app to complete setup.
Step 6) You are now automatically subscribed to St. Clair College (All Campuses) alerts.
