Students from Corpus Christi Catholic Middle School and FJ Brennan Catholic High School celebrated the end of a unique 5-week pilot project on Friday, where they teamed up with local organizations like Invest Windsor-Essex, WE-Tech Alliance, and others. This year's 11th Annual Sleighing Hunger Charity Concert performed by The S'Aints at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor raised a record $102,534 for 16 area food banks in the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association and Chatham Outreach for Hunger. The concert was postponed due to the arrival of a Christmas week winter storm and was held on Thursday, December 29th.
Members of our St. Clair College Saints Football team volunteered their time on Saturday at the Windsor NFL Draft Party at City Hall Square. The City had a variety of interactive events for families including a small football field where kids were able to learn some skills, run routes and even catch some passes from our athletes.
