Introduction To Layout And Design

This course applies the basic elements of graphic design and layout principles to solve hypothetical digital design problems for the web. Instruction will explore the stages involved in producing strategic solutions to a client problem for execution within the digital environment. Using the industry standard Adobe Photoshop, emphasis will be placed on the various tools available in the software and their appropriate use including layer management, layer modes and effects, colour and correct file formatting for output.
