This course will introduce the student to the role of a crime scene investigator at a crime scene. Crime scene reconstruction is detailed using scientific and technological concepts. The proper methodology for evidence recognition, packaging, storage so that it is admissible in court is evaluated. Scientific procedures and the latest technology in the field of forensics are explored. Legal, procedural and ethical considerations for crime scene management are discussed.
