National Lifeguard Service/Pool | St. Clair College

Recognized as the standard measurement of lifeguard performance in Canada, NL education is designed to develop a sound understanding of lifeguarding principles, good judgment and a mature responsible attitude towards the role of the lifeguard. Leadership, communication and team situations will be emphasized. Upon completion, successful candidates will receive the National Lifeguard Award, and be legally eligible for employment in a lifeguarding position. 100% attendance is required. Final exam will be held on the 11th week of class unless otherwise specified. Please bring previous awards prior to the exam for authentication.

Prerequisites: Completion of Bronze Cross & Standard First Aid, 16 years of age by the exam date. MINIMUM 8 CANDIDATES TO RUN THIS COURSE.
