The Canadian Red Cross is another organization that St. Clair College is affiliated with.
Lifesaving Society
The Lifesaving Society is the Canadian governing body for competitive lifesaving – a sport recognized by the International Olympic Committee. The Lifesaving Society is one of the organizations that St. Clair College is affiliated with.
Dive Ontario
The mission of Dive Ontario is to provide quality programming and services in order to support all athletes, coaches, and officials in their quest to achieve personal and community excellence.
Springboard and Platform diving is a sport that requires commitment and discipline from its athletes. Training not only occurs on the boards but encompasses many different disciplines during dryland: trampoline, gymnastics, ballet and yoga. All of this combined aid our divers to perform their dives with grace, strength and flexibility. Athletes in the competitive programs train many hours a week and must possess the ability to focus while performing under pressure.
Swim Ontario
Swim Ontario is a non-profit sport governing body responsible for the organization and regulation of amateur swimming in Ontario (a province in Canada). Swim Ontario promotes excellence by structuring, regulating and supporting programs, which encourage the maximum development of each individual swimmer. It is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and its policies are administered by a full-time professional staff located at the Sport Alliance of Ontario building in Toronto.
Aquatic Sport Council of Ontario
The Aquatic Sport Council of Ontario aims to promote a greater general understanding of overall design concepts, an appreciation of technical issues and the critical factors that need to be considered in reaching the appropriate solution for a particular project. The Aquatic Sport Council of Ontario can also advise where further information, advice and expertise may be found and point to benchmark examples. This site is fundamental to ensuring:
- Increased awareness of good design in sports facilities.
- Accurate information about the facility specifications required for competition in each aquatic sport.
- Tools to assist pool operators and sports groups understand the opportunities to work collaboratively for the best uses of space and resources.
HIGH FIVE
HIGH FIVE® is Canada's quality standard for children's recreation and sport. Before HIGH FIVE, no standard existed and there was a clear need for an innovative approach to help organizations enhance program quality and provide positive experiences for children, which would remain with them for a lifetime.
Today, HIGH FIVE holds true to the five Principles of healthy child development that the research indicates are essential for quality programs:

JUMPSTART
Jumpstart Charities gives kids a sporting chance.
Participating in sport helps kids develop physical and social skills. It helps build self-esteem. By helping kids get into the game, we're equipping them with determination. And we're giving them confidence that will extend beyond practices and games.
Jumpstart also helps community groups provide high-quality programs for local youth. From developing swimming programs to distributing activity kits filled with equipment, not only are the kids given the chance to participate, but local sport and school programs also benefit from Jumpstart's help.
