Ethics:, Structures of Morality provides students the opportunity to explore the need for ethical systems and their relevance in contemporary society. By surveying the main ethical systems including deontology, consequentialism, and virtue ethics, students will answer questions such as what makes right actions right?, In addition, students will critically apply these systems to controversial moral issues in areas such as suicide, the environment, war and violence, and censorship.
