The course will provide students with an introduction to continuous improvement and Lean problem-solving tools and techniques. Students will learn about and practice using Lean tools such as value stream mapping eight wastes time study analysis Kaizen events PDSA standard work and continuous improvement. Strategies for how and when to use these tools as well as integration with project software will also be examined.
