This course is an introduction to procurement principles resulting in a fair and transparent procurement process relating to Competitive and Non-Competitive Procurements, in both Private and Public sectors within Canada. Students will explore Mandatory Requirements for procuring Goods and Services at different thresholds of procurement values, the development of specification and evaluation criteria, and comprehensive statements of work. In a simulated workplace environment, students will engage in procurement practices including writing proposals, implementing evaluation strategies, leading debriefs, awarding contracts, and managing contracts.
