The student will become familiar with the fundamentals of retail pharmacy computer systems. The student will develop skills in accurate and efficient data entry, retrieval of information, and generating computer labels using actual retail pharmacy computer systems. They will be introduced to third party coverage and payment requirements for prescription and non- prescription drugs.
