WHMIS 2015 GHS states that employees have the "Right to KNOW", this includes any potential hazardous material they might be exposed to in the workplace. This course has been developed to meet the training standards for a generic WHMIS 2015 GHS course. The Occupational Health and Safety Awareness training provides a basic understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). It focuses on the health and safety rights and responsibilities of workers. It also serves as a general introduction to workplace health and safety, using the Worker Health and Safety Awareness in Four Steps Workbook and accompanying quizzes. This course is presented as an introduction to Pre-Apprenticeship training.
