This course introduces students of the Powerline Technician Program to some fundamentals of Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometric methods used to solve right and oblique triangles and to add vectors. Principles of geometry will be used to compute lengths and areas and volumes of various geometric figures. Students will be introduced to the basic concepts involved in metric and imperial measurement as they apply to the installation, operation and maintenance of the power distribution system.
