This course is designed to help students develop college level writing skills. The emphasis, in order to achieve this goal, is on basic skill development utilizing proper punctuation and grammar to create effective paragraphs; this concludes with an introduction to memos and letters. All exercises and assignments are designed to improve general literacy. This is a specialized course for the Police Foundations Program.
