An introduction to the practical skills and philosophical underpinnings of modern acting techniques, this course is designed to familiarize the learner with the actor's process through an examination of theatrical vocabulary, text analysis of modern and Shakespearean monologues, and opportunities for practical application through in-class presentations. Individual work is supported by weekly one on one tutorials with acting coaches drawn from the professional industry.
