This course starts by exploring terminology reflective of body planes cavities regions and structures. The course looks in depth at the structure and function of the muscle bone and nervous tissues of the musculoskeletal system. The course identifies the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system by region including bones joints muscles and nerves. On completion of this course students will be able to identify multiple surface anatomy points important to the practice of the OTA and PTA. This course is the first of two courses addressing the study of anatomy and physiology.
