This course is a study and application of automotive Internal Combustion Engines (ICE). Engine component identification and precision measuring procedures using industry standards and equipment will be heavily stressed. A firm understanding of the internal and external forces that affect an ICE while operating will be a major learning objective. Original engine design is an integral component of this course. Engine removal and replacement as well as failure analysis are a major component of this course.
