This course expands on the student's knowledge of programmable controllers, industrial robots and related peripherals. The course will include projects that involve establishing communication links and using industrial networks for control and monitoring of automated processes. The use of electronic operator interface devices for control of equipment and visualization of processes will be examined and implemented in laboratory exercies.
