This course is designed to give the student an introduction to Methods Engineering, and Ergonomics for use in designing workstations and assembly line operations., Topics to be covered include:, flow and manufacturing charts, line balancing, , correlation studies, ergonomics and time study methods. Comparisons between, North American and Japanese techniques will be discussed throughout the course.
