The course will examine successful business practices associated with opening a medi-spa or clinic. Students will learn to develop a business model for the operation of a small business and consider strategies for marketing and promoting various services. The course also addresses the advantages and disadvantages of renting vs. buying a business location and equipment. Decisions related to various insurance coverages and liabilities are also covered. Students will also learn how to comply with relevant government regulations and professional standards.
