This is an introductory course to electronic security systems and technology. Students will learn the basic elements of the electronic security field including sensors, control panels and communications. They will be introduced on how to evaluate threat risk assessments. In addition, they will be exposed to a range of electronic security technology and applications to provide working knowledge and skills necessary to develop solutions relative to electronic security systems and support introduction of video evidence in legal proceedings.
