This course provides the student with an opportunity to develop basic drafting skills using a computer and its software. Industry-leading Dynascape software will be utilized allowing students to draft two-dimensional landscape garden plans. This course also provides an introduction to landscape design, including the basic principles of design. Computer designs will incorporate residential design, including circulation (pathways/walkways), bed layout and plant selection. Basic hand rendering and graphic design will also be incorporated in this course.
