The course examines how a firm develops an effective international market entry strategy. Students will conduct market entry research and identify a viable market entry strategy for their Export Project. Major topics include the selection of foreign channel partners, market entry regulations as well as negotiating agreements and foreign partnership management. Special consideration will be given to ethical issues as well as intra-cultural competencies required for successful market entry.
