This course will introduce the learner to more advanced concepts in personal training and group fitness. In particular, fitness programming adaptations will be considered for working in physical activity settings with participants in developmental stages from childhood to adulthood, with an emphasis on the aging process. Consideration will also be given to awareness, diagnosis, and adaptations in methodology for those people who are physically challenged or have special needs.
