Robotic Vision Systems

This course builds on the student's knowledge of industrial robots by integrating vision into the robotic work cell. The course will cover both the hardware and software aspects related to industrial vision systems and robotics applications of vision. The students will be exposed to theory and laboratory exercises that entail setup and calibration of cameras, configuration of communication and robotic vision software and teaching of robotic processes that involve vision. Stationary and robot mounted vision systems will be explored.
