Introductory Statics | St. Clair College
Course Code
ERT204
Course Credit
3

This course introduces the basic concepts of statics and problem solving techniques relevant to the robotics industry. It provides the student with an approach and a method of analysis of practical systems. The student will be introduced to concepts of 2D and 3D equilibrium. Graphical and analytical methods are incorporated to solve problems related to force systems, dry friction, moments and couples, structures and members, centroids, moments of inertia and radius of gyration.
