Dental Radiography - H.A.R.P Approved Certification

The Dental Radiography: Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) approved Certification program is designed for individuals with a dental background namely those employed in a dental practice in Ontario or internationally trained dental professionals. The primary goal is to provide qualification in accordance with the HARP Act. This comprehensive radiography course explores the theoretical legal and practical aspects related to the exposure processing and handling of dental radiographs. Participants engage in practical session honing various intra-oral radiographic techniques to generate diagnostically valuable images. The focus extends to standard intra-oral radiographic techniques radiation hygiene practices and a thorough understanding of provincial and federal regulations coupled with essential client management skills. Successful completion of this course attests to meeting all the requirements outlined by the HARP Act qualifying to operate an x-ray machines in Ontario.
