This course expands on the foundational knowledge of pacemakers from Cardiac Devices I and will provide the student with an overview of implantable cardiac defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy and implantable loop recorders. Indications, device analysis, patient management and follow up care will be examined as well as implantation and troubleshooting techniques.
