Utilizing a state of the art cardiovascular lab, students will learn the fundamentals and demonstrate the practical skills for performing routine electrocardiograms. Students will become familiar with equipment operation and maintenance, troubleshooting techniques, recognition of artifact and the optimization of instruments settings to enhance clinical data while maintaining safety and professionalism. A mandatory lab is part of course delivery.
