This course will provide students with a foundational understanding of how electrical theory and light energy will impact services. Students will also study cosmetic chemistry to understand the chemical compositions, structures and properties of professional product formulations. Working within the Esthetician's scope of practice, students will link formulations and active ingredients to skin conditions, plan treatment protocols, and troubleshoot spa services.
