Diverse Approaches To Work, Play and Leisure

This course introduces play from a historical and contemporary perspective including the factors that impact play as well as the relationships between work, play, and leisure. Special attention is given to the role of play in individual health and wellness. Consideration will also be given to the ways in which play relates to the economy, religion, sexuality, race, socio-economic status, and education.
