Laboratory Techniques I

The purpose of this course is to demonstrate and teach laboratory skills including: practical, hands-on techniques for the correct and safe use of common lab equipment; correct use of laboratory terminology (verbal and written); proven approaches to solving chemistry lab related problems; accurate measurement of experimental data; correct manipulation of data and results according to industry- accepted standards; and writing laboratory reports in standard format.
