In this course students are introduced to the concepts and methods of financial management from the broad perspective of a non-financial manager. Topics include financial statement analysis, financial forecasting, capital budgeting, working capital management, sources of financing, the time value of money, and the risk/return tradeoff. The focus is on applying critical thinking skills to assess financial opportunities and challenges faced by the decision makers in a company.
