An introduction to electrical symbols to draw wiring and schematic diagrams to study electrical circuits used in the installation of electrical devices and equipment in buildings. Making use of the Ontario Safety Code to establish types and requirements for branch circuits to enable the completion of cable layouts. Being able to draw a wiring diagram of the components of a combination distribution panel and completion of a schedule based on cable layouts. The student will be able to complete elevation drawings of electrical services and equipment and incorporating code requirements.
