St. Clair College is a member of OntarioLearn which is a consortium of all Ontario colleges that deliver online learning. You register with and receive credit from St. Clair College but the course is delivered by an instructor at another college. Start Dates
You will not be able to access your course prior to the official start date and for those registering during the first week of the course, it may take up to 3 business days to activate your account. Registration ends two weeks after start date. Please note that registration and withdrawal dates for OntarioLearn are different than Ecampus offerings.

How To Start Your Ontario Learn Course
Note: Ontario Learn courses have a course code starting with ONT. (Example: ONT 163)
To access your Ontario Learn. course, you will need to follow a 2-step process. First, access your St. Clair College email account and second, set up your Ontario Learn portal access. Ontario Learn courses are accessed through the Ontario Learn Portal.
Step 1: Access your St. Clair College account. You may already have an active St. Clair College email account. If so, please log in and look for an email from Ontario Learn with instructions and a temporary password. You may need to check the junk/spam folder. If you are new to St. Clair College, a St. Clair account will be provided for you. Please check the personal email account you provided with your registration for an email from St. Clair College IT Services. This will contain your St. Clair College email address and login information. You will need to set your password and follow the instructions provided.
If you did not receive information about your St. Clair College email account or are unable to log in and access it, please contact our IT Help Desk immediately at https://www.stclaircollege.ca/it-services to get assistance.
Step 2: After you have access to your St. Clair College email account, please locate the email sent from Ontario Learn (Subject: From St. Clair College: Your OntarioLearn Log-in Details) with instructions to set up your Ontario Learn portal access. The email also contains a temporary password. You may need to check the junk/spam folder. Please follow the instructions provided by Ontario Learn to access the portal and begin your Ontario Learn course.
Note: Access to your Ontario Learn or A.C.E. Distance course will not become available in the Ontario Learn portal until the course start date.

Academic Policies
Although the course for which you are registered may be a course offered from another Ontario college, students must abide by the academic policies stated by St. Clair College. These policies are outlined below:
Course Cancellations
St. Clair College reserves the right to cancel/reschedule courses as may be necessary from time to time. In the event that the College cancels your course, your course fees will be fully refunded and mailed within a 3 to 5 week period.
Refund Policy for Online Courses
An official withdrawal before the first week of the semester will result in a full refund. An official withdrawal after the first week and before the third week of the semester will result in a full refund LESS a $25.00 Administration Fee. No refund will apply to an official withdrawal on the first day of the third week of the semester or later. If you cannot continue your class, (whether or not you are in time for a refund), please inform the college so that your student record will indicate a withdrawal as opposed to a fail (F).
Grades
Grades will be posted approximately 3 weeks after the end of the semester.
