The Fit to be a Corrections Officer (FITCO) Practice session is designed to introduce applicants of the Correctional Officer Staff Application, Recruitment and Training (CO ST.A.R.T.) program to the FITCO test. FITCO is the physical skills and abilities test for the (CO ST.A.R.T.) program. The test is a controlled simulation of the occupational requirements for corrections officers in Ontario. The FITCO Practice session will physically introduce applicants and provide hands-on experience and instruction for FITCO's three physical screening tests: 1) a cell search, 2) the Emergency Response Circuit, and 3) the Aerobic Shuttle Run.
