BLS CPR and Defibrillation for Health Care Providers | St. Clair College

This Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course teaches learners to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). It includes adult, child and infant rescue techniques. This course is designed for participants who work in an area where a Public Access Defibrillator is available, or for participants looking to further their medical training. Course includes anticipation/planning of a cardiac arrest, step-by-step instructions on how to successfully use a defibrillator, care and stabilization of a patient.
