December brought the spirit of giving to St. Clair College as students from the Esthetician program and the Advanced Medical Esthetics Practitioner program joined forces to make a difference in their community.

Through a series of specialized services offered on campus, the students raised an incredible $4,711 for the Student Representative Council (SRC) Outreach Program, a vital initiative supporting those in need.

The students demonstrated remarkable dedication, applying their skills and training to provide facials, manicures, skincare treatments, and other services to clients from the College and beyond. The initiative not only showcased their talents but also highlighted their commitment to giving back.

"It is inspiring to see our students working so hard for such a meaningful cause, and their enthusiasm and professionalism truly shone through," said Stephanie DeFranceschi, the Chair of the School Health Sciences at St. Clair College. "We're thrilled with the results and proud to see them making a positive impact."

Clients praised the students for their high level of service, noting the warmth and care they received during their treatments.

The funds raised will directly support the SRC Outreach Program, which provides essential resources to underserved individuals in the community, especially during the holiday season.

"This event underscores the power of collaboration and compassion within the St. Clair College community," DeFranceschi said. "Congratulations to all involved for their hard work and for spreading holiday cheer while making a real difference!"
