Fieldwork II

This course is a continuation of SRM 505. One of the key strengths of the Sport Management program is the fieldwork component which offers students the opportunity in a supervised workplace setting to apply the academic knowledge acquired from years 1 and 2. Students will work/volunteer one day per week or the equivalent of at least 7 hours per week engaged in the sport or recreation business during the semester. The placement will be with a sport or recreation-related business or organization in any of the sport sectors: pro sport, amateur sport, community sport, college and university sport, sporting goods, sport facilities, sport and event partners. Placement may also include working multiple sport/recreation related specific events.
