The student will be introduced to basic medical terminology. The student will be introduced to basic action on the body of a variety of drug classifications including: medications affecting the autonomic nervous system and central nervous system, medications affecting the musculoskeletal system and medications used in the treatment of diseases of the ophthalmic and otic systems.
