This course provides students with the basis to carry out bookkeeping and accounting functions required in a paralegal practice. Students execute a broad range of activities and assignments to develop skills in general accounting principles, adjust entries, and prepare trial balances. The course builds on student's knowledge of legal accounting software (PLG 210). Emphasis is placed on the requirements established by the Law Society for books and record keeping, obligations related to trust accounts, accounting ledgers and journals.
