This course is designed for students in nursing and applied health programs and caregivers in the community. It would also be beneficial for health professionals who require updating in pharmaco-therapeutics. This course will prepare students to safely and knowledgeably administer medications and to monitor the clients who are receiving them. The course also introduces the student to alternatives to drug therapy. The student will have knowledge of all drug classifications and of the skill to administer medications by various routes.
