This course is a detailed study of advanced automotive brake systems, automotive steering and suspension systems. Brake system studies progress from the overview of previous courses to specific functions of drum and disc brake system elements and related components. Course study will include power and anti-lock and traction control brake systems and components in specific vehicle applications. Suspensions and steering studies progress from the overview of previous courses to specific test and repair procedures including four-wheel alignment on standard suspension, active suspension and four wheels steer vehicles. Operational principles of necessary test apparatus are also outlined.
