Interviewing & Investigation

This course focuses on interviewing and investigation skills, principles and procedures required to effectively interview and investigate within the various areas of law enforcement. Students develop the interview and investigation skills necessary to retrieve information from victims, witnesses, suspects, offenders and inmates. Students also learn the basic steps of investigation, including the practical development of note-taking and observation skills. Laws, as they relate to evidence will be examined and applied.
