Entrepreneurship and Freelancing

During this course, students will be exposed to the various opportunities working on a contract or working freelance. Key areas such as business planning, budgeting and record keeping, time tracking, marketing, proposal writing and project management will be covered. Students will prepare to enter the market with presentation, leadership, pitching, negotiation and client relation skills. Students will gain practical experience in branding, multimedia presentation and monetization techniques. They will be introduced to platforms with job postings for positions including cast, crew and creative professionals.
