This course expands into a series of comprehensive design challenges where students will apply research methodology to the development of innovative visual communication solutions. Topics will focus on the creation of content for specific output scenarios such as wayfinding systems, reports, corporate identities, and infographics, with consideration for the editing of assets for display across multiple digital platforms. Students will also be introduced to concepts relating to diversity and the intercultural aspects of design, standards of accessibility and the role of the graphic designer in today's global communications field.
