Building on skills fostered in prior design courses, this course presents students with an immersive exploration of the development of brand identities from concept to final design. Topics include strategies for concept creation, building a positioning statement, understanding demographics, and maintaining a consistent aesthetic voice across all applicable platforms used in promotion and advertising in the contemporary design landscape. Students will build rationales to support their creative choices, pitch concepts in client/designer simulations, and explore digital marketing strategies as they relate to the career of the graphic designer.
