This course explores the current Esports industry in Canada and beyond. Students will learn about the various organizations, leagues, players and companies that shape the current landscape. Students will learn how these groups interact with one another and will identify gaps and opportunities for entrepreneurial ventures. An exploration of the various roles within the existing landscape as well as emerging roles and opportunities will be undertaken. In this course students will also learn about regulation (or lack thereof) in the emerging Esports industry.
